Through the month of October, First Federal Savings Bank and employees raised funds for the United Way of Huntington County. All six branches participated in a “Kiss a Pig” jar wars competition, raffle and Friday jeans days, with all proceeds going to the local nonprofit. Employees could also make individual pledges at any time during the campaign.
$19,000 Raised
In November, Mike Zahn, president and CEO of First Federal Savings Bank presented a check to Kyle Metzger of the United Way of Huntington County. A long-time supporter of the United Way and the Huntington Community, First Federal Savings Bank raised $19,000 for the nonprofit.
